Mortgage charge

My seller has contacted lender and they have confirmed mortgage is paid off, When will the mortgage lender remove the charge from registry

Rhiannon - most major lenders remove their charge from the land register within 3-4 weeks of them notifying you.

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and didn’t expect such a delay, is there anything I can do as the buyer?

Rhiannon - as a buyer no as you are reliant on the seller's lender. Your conveyancer can keep any eye on the title information to see when the discharge, as it's known, takes place.
