This property is currently being sold and the conveyancer acting for the seller has confirmed that he submitted an application for adverse possession relating to the land to the rear of the property some time ago. I understand that as separate request for the matter to be expedited was also submitted as the property is SSTC. Could you let me know the current status please.

Good Afternoon - we received an application affecting that property on 11th February. It's not been expedited as processing has already started. The conveyancer has been informed. 
The case is currently waiting to be considered by a senior officer with regards the request to amend the registered information and for them to decide next steps as appropriate.
If an amendment is to be made then that will most likely involve a site visit/survey and/or wider checks as appropriate

Good Afternoon Debi - the original application was cancelled and retaken in as a first registration on 10th April. We are currently carrying out wider checks with the county council and those may not expire until after 5th May
