Removal of expired lease

Hi I am currently buying a property but am waiting for an expired lease to be removed from the land registry. Does anyone know how long this can take as an estimate? The property is being sold as freehold. 

Hi Sophie - wait times are lengthy unless they've expedited it. If expedited it's usually processed within 10 days but everything then has to be in order to allow it to be completed. 
I'd suggest asking them to confirm when submitted and when expedited. If within the last 10 days then ask them as to how it's progressing or whether still waiting.
