First registration on purchase from 2022

We purchased our property in September 2022, which had not previously been registered with Land Registry. An application was made for first registration at that time (LR Maps shows title ND218427). I understand the delays in first registrations, but it has been 22 months since we completed. I would be grateful if you could please advise on the status/progress of the application, and if you are awaiting anything from any related parties?

Hi Jane - the application you refer to was received on the 6th June 2024. So we haven't had it from 2022.
You are correct though re lengthy delays so it will be some time before it is processed. However the application and legal ownership is protected and such a long wait rarely impacts.
I'd suggest speaking to your conveyancer to confirm the above and to check why the delay from their perspective

Thanks, Adam, I appreciate you looking into this. I have gone back to my solicitor to clarify the reasons for the delay.
