Please can you help. Our solicitor chased our expedited application yesterday and were told they still hadn't received the survey from Ordnance survey. The Ordnance surveyor that came out to us confirmed they had submitted the survey the afternoon of their visit which was the 4th June. It will have been eight working days by today, what can we do?

Liza - many thanks. Loks like we may have misunderstood what's happening as the application is currently with our lawyers to consider next steps, including the survey report and OS changes recently made. I have escalated it with the support team but must stress these complex types of application can take time to be processed. Expedition gets them to the processing start line, generally within the 10 working days we quote, but after that the lawyer referral, OS survey and wider checks (if any and yet to come) will always mean a much longer wait time. Make a note to post again end of week/start of next and we can see what next steps have been taken

Thank you for your reply and for the escalation, time is running out on the buyer's mortgage so we are concerned the sale may fall through. I will be back in touch at the end of the week. The land is a very small area of a wall and part of the driveway which doesn't impact any neighbouring areas so hopefully wider checks won't be necessary? Thanks again and fingers crossed....

Hi Liza - I have replied to your post in the absence of my colleague. There is no record of us having received response to our queries either on Thursday or thereafter. We are still waiting for the reply. It may be useful to check with the conveyancers on what exactly they replied and how.

Hello again. Today is the deadline for response to notices. Is there a time of day that the deadline is closed? Is there any update on this application, are you able to let us know if there have been any responses and or what the outcome is? Our buyers mortgage deadline is looming. Thank you

Hello Liza - The deadline to respond was at noon today. We generally wait for 24 hours after that to ensure that there is nothing received by us which may be in transit. Once the period is over, and there is nothing else received, then we will aim to proceed with the application as soon as possible.
