Hi,

I submitted an application by post on 12 August. I received electronic confirmation of receipt by yourselves on 18 August (G885ZYT for title DY591265). I made a request to expedite on the same day, and on 19 August I received electronic confirmation that the request to expedite had been approved.

Since I applied postally, but all confirmations so far have been electronic, will I be notified by post or electronically once the application has been processed? And, since the application would result in a change to the register once processed, will I receive an updated official copy of the register to reflect this change or would I need to separately apply and pay for an official copy using Form OC1 afterwards?

Thanks.

Hi Adam,

Sorry to be a pest, but can you please confirm that the above application (G885ZYT for title DY591265) has in fact been expedited? I know 10 working days haven't passed yet, it's just that I saw some other posts in the forum regarding applications where the customer had been told it had been approved to be expedited but then something went awry in the system and it wasn't internally flagged up as such and it made me a bit paranoid.

Thanks again.

Hi Jay W - it has been expedited and that was on the 19th August
Paranoia is a dangerous thing and failing to mark a case as an expedite once we have approved it to be is extremely rare
What's more common is that conveyancers request expedition on submission so that request is not seen and/or people expecting expedition to be a magic 10 day wand when it's not
DY591265
