Hello I have been told the probate was granted by the seller, however we are now waiting for land registry to complete before the sellers solicitors will send any contracts over. It has apparently been extradited, can we get an update possibly on this process? Thanks Josh - 4 Dickens Close DY3 3EQ

Hello Joshua - the application was expedited and partially processed but we needed more from the conveyancer. That correspondence has been going on for several months and their last reply was at the end of March
That response with additional information is now with our lawyers to decide on next steps. Expedition means those should be known asap after which time there should be a better idea re timescales remaining

Hi, Thanks for quick reply. So are you saying its still awaiting information from his solicitors?

So has the probate on this property been granted? And now just awaiting land registry change?

And they have expedited this to be sorted asap? As we need timescales for our peace of mind.

Thanks
Josh

Hi Josh - no as we have had replied from the conveyancers and their last one is now waiting for one of our lawyers to consider it and next steps. Apologies if my post did not make that clear
Expedition gets the case to the processing start line asap. That happened back in August but the actual process has taken several months as the application was incomplete and we have had to wait for 'more' from the conveyancer
We can't offer a definitive timeline until we know what next steps are required. The next steps may include 'more' still being needed from the conveyancer; a site visit/survey; and wider checks with adjoining land/property owners. In some cases it could be all three next steps.
I'd suggest making a note to post again early next week and we can check for an update for you
