Hi. My solicitor advised they needed to return documents to land registry as there was a problem with the registered address when they received them. She says has chased but still not received anything. Could you check on this for us please?

HI Nicky - their requested amendment is waiting to be processed. Is there a specific urgency now? How has the solicitor chased it and for what reason?

I'm not sure how chased but not sure how this affects any remortgage/sale as we need to release funds urgently.

Nicky - it can only affect a remortgage/sale if you have a mortgage offer about to expire or a confirmed buyer. If you don't have either you can still look to remortgage/sell and when you get either confirmed then we can hasten it for you

We have now chosen to sell the property and an offer has been accepted. This is to be a cash sale so we are hoping for a quick completion. Could these documents be finalised to avoid any delays in the sale?

NIcky - there's nothing now pending against DY559286 and the amendment was completed on 8th Jan and the conveyancer notified. So you have a 'clear' title so should be able to continue re next transaction
