Expedited Application

In regards to WYK889115. We were due to complete last week and have now found out only a possessory title is held for this property by the current owners. I have been informed due to my solicitor and lender that this needs changing to full title before sale can complete. Can you advise if an application has been made by the current owners to do this, and current time scales when expedited?

Kayleigh - An application to upgrade has been submitted on 5 June. It is waiting to be looked and there is no indication of it being expedited. The timescales if the application is expedited will depend on what is presented to us and what, if any actions, we need to carry out.

Thankyou, this should have been expedited due to a pending sale that is on the verge of collapsing. We were due to complete last Thursday 4th! If this possessory title has been in place for well over the 12 years how likely is it for a straight forward application and are you able to give any indication of time scales at all?

Kayleigh - A request to expedite has been submitted a short time ago. The request will be considered and acted upon as soon as possible. Generally applications to upgrade the title following completion of 12 years would be processed without the need of much investigation, but it would not be right to give you any timescales until the application has been seen by a caseworker.

Thankyou, my conveyancer has been in touch to let me know the expedition request has been accepted, so hopefully, given the amount of time its been in this title, it should be a straight forward request.
