I am planning to transfer a registerted property I own to a charity and hoping to avoid a conveyancer
I have started on form TR1 but in panelo 5 it only refers to companies. This charity is not a company. Do I simply put the charity registration number in poanel 5?
Also, what proof of identity  does the charity need and hos is it refcorded as ID3 only refers to individuals?
Thanks

Ed - see PG 14 for guidance - Charities: advice for applications sent to HM Land Registry (PG14) - GOV.UK
Identity verification would not apply
Whilst you don't have to use a conveyancer please do consider doing so as the guidance we can offer is limited to the above guide

It seems verification would not apply as charities cannot own property. They could if they were a charitable compoany, like any other company, but simply as a charity seems to be illegal (although not unkown).
