Expedited Adverse Possession Status?

Hello,

We are prospective buyers of a property that is currently undergoing an adverse possession application for an unregistered section of the rear garden. The sellers have informed us that the application was expedited earlier this month (October).

Could you please provide an update on the current status of the application? We are facing a house finance deadline in the next few weeks, so any progress update would be greatly appreciated. If possible, could your team also be notified or prompted regarding this matter?

Hello Qureshi - the application to claim ownership of land to the rear of the title quoted was cancelled on 23rd October. The conveyancer was advised as to the correct type of application to be submitted but as yet none has been received
I would suggest speaking to your conveyancer/the seller as appropriate to confirm

I checked with the seller and was informed that another application with right set of documents was sent. Can you please check if the application has been received and also expedited?

Hi Adam, anything at you end now regarding WK93257, because the seller's side is constantly informing that the application is with HMLR and being followed-up? Thank you.

Hi M Qureshi - yes, an application to register the land for the first time has been received and expedited. Letters were issued yesterday to the property owners for them to arrange a site visit/survey by Ordnance Survey

Hi M Quereshi - the survey report is just in but we are waiting for more from the lodging conveyancer before matters can continue. They were contacted on the 17th November. Once we have a full response the case + survey report will be reviewed and wider checks started as appropriate and as advised in the linked thread previously provided

Hi M Quereshi - The application is being considered but there are queries that need to be resolved before we can proceed further.  We have written to the conveyancers who submitted the application and are waiting for their response.
