Purchasing a property with both a freehold and leasehold on it

Hi<br> <br> I am in the process of buying a property, but this has become very drawn out as it was found the property had both a freehold and a leasehold 'Lease for Life' on it. The leasehold needs removing. I have been told the sellers solicitors have made a number of applications. On the latest expedited one, they have been requested to supply a Grant of Probate. Hi Graham - the probate has been submitted (30th) but the case is currently on referral to a senior officer to decide whether that's sufficient on it's own or not.
