Hi Team,

I need this urgent information on the below
Title Number : WA201420
Application reference : M058JST

The property is owned by my company with me as a sole proprietor. DS1 was filed by the Solicitors on 20th Jan 2025 to discharge a first charge. Also a request to expedite been filed. However the process is delayed with a status saying waiting for response on a notice. No information was shared to the solicitors on who this notice was served.

Please could you confirm who this notice was served and by what means (email or post)?

This delay is holding a remortgage process with a tight deadline. Please shed some light on what is going on.

Kind Regards

Hi Yamini - wider checks have to be completed when a lender/creditor discharges their legal charge. The check is carried out by Notice which has been served by post using the name and registered details for that lender/creditor. They have until the 18th Feb to respond. We do not chase them for a response

Hi Adam,

I have just checked with the lender and the lender has confirmed that they didn't receive any such notice from HMLT in post until today.

Please advise what will be the process next? Can the notice be resent?

Kind Regards
Yamini

Yamini - postal delivery can take time depending on Royal Mail. If they have received it today as you state, it doesn't need to be reissued, and they should read it and follow the instructions given

Hi Adam,

Thank you. But they haven't received it today either.

Is it First class or second class post? As per royal mail even the second class post will be delivered 2 to 4 days since dispatched.

Kind Regards

Yamini.
