First Registration HELP!

Please can someone help me regarding a first registration application. Intially it was lodged as an adverse possession claim but land registry asked for it to be lodged as a first reg. The title application number is KCAE715. I am the potential purchaser if the property so HMLR can only tell me so much with out having to chase the sellers solicitor. It has already been expedited and marked as URGENT but has now been referred to a senior officer! Is there anyone that can help give me a clear internal view of this application PLEASE

Craig - Due to the nature of the application, we require a survey of the land to be carried by Ordnance Survey on our behalf. We have written to the applicants and asked them to arrange for the survey by contacting Ordnance Survey. We are now waiting for the survey to be done.

Hi Nimish Thanks for the update! I was informed this morning that was the case and the other side’s solicitor has now instructed the survey… Once the survey is complete would you guess that is just a formality to finalise or would there be further requirements/requisitions? Thanks again!!

Hi Craig - The survey results would be considered together with the evidence submitted as part of the application. At this stage it would be determined if there were any queries (requisitions) or further checks we would need to carry out.

Hi Nimish, thanks for your update! The Ordnance was completed and passed of by the lawyers and was passed back to the agent who has now requested a further requisition! Are we nearing the end of the application would you say? Thanks

Hi Craig - everything is progressing to the end of the application. Once we have a response to the further requisition you refer to we will be another step closer to that end. I'll ask the casework team to issue the further request asap, SF297774
