Expedite requested 5 weeks ago with no update on cause of delay. Please help.

Hello; I remortgaged my property in 2025, and an application was submitted in late July to remove my now ex-husband’s name from the title deed and to update my name to my married name (as this was the name on my mortgage). When I came to sell the property it came to light that the change had not yet been processed by HM Land Registry. As this is now delaying the sale, the original conveyancer requested an expedite on 11th February. Further information was requested by HM Land Registry on 12th February and was supplied the same day by the conveyancer. 26 working days have now passed since Feb 11th and, despite chasing it up by telephone and email, the conveyancers have received no information on the progress of the application or the cause of the delay. I’d be grateful if someone could look into this – thank you. The title ref. is GM560254.

Hello Lesley - submitted on 25th July and expedited as you state. More information requested on 12th Feb but I can't see any actual response from the conveyancer with regards the request issued. The conveyancer has been in touch since to query progress and more but no specific reply to the request that I can see on record. I'll contact the conveyancer direct to query and ask them to resubmit what they sate they sent us back on 12th Feb and see if the application can be completed swiftly on response
