Fee payment method and amount.

Hi - I am an executor of an estate. Is there a fee payable for transfer as their is no consideration or do I pay the fee scale related to the market value of the property?

If I need to pay and my bank does not provide a cheque book how do I pay as postal orders only go up to £250?
