Islamic Mortgage Settlement - Scale 1 or Scale 2 Fees

Hi,

I have an Islamic mortgage where after settlement, the bank will provide me with DS1 and TR1 forms. I intend to submit these forms alongside the AP1 and ID3 forms.

In relation to competing the API form, I have a question about the category of fees that I need to pay.

For example on this link, I see scale 1 and scale 2 fees.

My question is do I need to pay scale 1 or scale 2 fees?

To provide some background, I will be making an application for:
-Transfer of freehold
-Discharge
-Merger - surrender of the leasehold

Hi Zakir - if the transfer is for a onetary considerairon then scale1 on that amount. If it's not then scale 2 

Based on what you’ve seen re these islamic mortgage forum inquiries is the transfer usually a monetary consideration or not?

I was able to confirm scale 2 fees apply in this case since there is no money being exchanged in the transfer.
