payment of fees

Hi, are there any other ways of paying the LR £45 fee?
I no longer have a cheque book - can I pay over the phone, bank transfer or in person anywhere in County Durham?  
I have seen there are old threads for this question but they go back 9 months or more, so wondered if there has been an updated way of paying.

Susan - cheque or postal order (from Post Office_ only. We are developing means to pay online but that's still a way off

Hi all: I'm a non-conveyancer seeking to register a transfer.
Can I submit the forms and supporting documents (Death Cert. & Letters of Admin.) online to benefit from the lower fee?
If so, how can I link the payment cheque with the application?

Hi Phil- postal only along with cheque/postal order.
The online options are for business users who do daily transactions with us - Land registration: Business and mortgage services - GOV.UK
