Fees For Whole Transfer

Myself and ex partner are joint owners however I need to put the property in just his name. The property value is £260000. Can you confirm that I use Scale 2 fees and they are £100. No money is exchanging hands with this transfer.

Sue R - if you are 'gifting' the property, so no monies are changing hands, then the fee is Scale 2 on half the current market value. That's £70 and not £100
Complete panel 4 of the form AP1 to refer to Transfer 2 to 1 - Full market value £260K and pay the correct fee
