I'm trying to sell a house in london which I bought as a rental. However my wife has added a matrimonial home rights against this property so the sale has come to a hold. This has never been a matrimonial home or intended to be and always rented. Is there any way I can get this application removed while its still on pending?

The application is against SGL293503 only. You won't be able to 'remove it' as it will need to be considered on merit. If you believe that her rights do not extend to or apply to this property then I would recommend seeking legal advice to confirm
I'll flag with colleagues and ask them to expedite the process so that the application is processed as swiftly as possible
If it is noted and you then wish to apply to cancel it please see PG 20 section 8 for guidance on how to do that as appropriate
