A double garage was at the side of our house which we demolished to build a house.  We own both properties.  Which forms do we need to register the new house and alter the boundary on our old house?

S Watson - the boundary will only be altered if for example you sell off one of the properties and the sale includes a part of one of the titles. For example if you sell the new property and that includes the whole of one title and part of another then that will result in a change to the registered information.
All the time you own both titles there's nothing to update as the registered extents remain the same and in the same ownership. What's been demolished/built does not alter those extents or ownership.

Thank you Adam.  We are looking at selling the new house next year which forms would we need to complete?

S Watson - when selling the whole of a registered title then you would use form TR1. If selling the whole plus a part or indeed two parts then form TP1 is used. Registering land or property with HM Land Registry: Change the registered owner name - GOV.UK
