Form CH1 how long between signing and submission?

Hi, I need to submit form CH1 as part of the financial conditions relating to my divorce, which involve my ex transferring the property into his name first and then me registering a charge until it is sold in 3 years.
We signed and witnessed the CH1 form on the 19th July, but because his conveyancer still hasn't submitted the TR1, I am still waiting to submit the charge.
Can you let me know how long a signature is considered valid for on this form before I need to get it done again?
thanks
Claire

Hi Claire - not really a Q for us to answer as it's a legal one rather than a registration one
The registration key will be when it is dated as clearly he can't charge the property in your favour until it's in his sole name
So the normal conveyancing process would be to execute the deed but not date it until completion occurs
I'd have a chat with his conveyancer to get the answer but also to discuss options if you have already dated it
