Islamic Mortgage Settlement and Title Transfer

I am in the process of settling the final payment on an Islamic style mortgage, wherein the Bank's name is on the Title.

The Bank's solicitor is going to surrender the sub lease and provide the discharge and transfer documents directly to me.

Could you tell me which forms I should fill out and any other guidance on how to handle the documents released to me with regard to transfer of title?

I have yes, but I do not find any clear information on what exactly I need to do in terms of forms etc.

Sam - I would assume the Bank will provide you a Transfer and a Discharge.   You would then need to complete a form AP1 to submit an application to change the register.

You may also need to provide Stamp Duty Land Tax certificate. You need to contact HM Revenue & Customs about this.
