Hi. My ex wife and I have completed our divorce and agreed to a financial settlement that the courts have signed off. I ended up with her half of the house and she ended up with her pension and some financial amount from me. <br> My question is simply about the TR1 form to help sort the deeds transfer. Do I tick the top box saying "The transferor has received from the transferee for the property the following sum....<br> <br> And if I do, do I simply put in the value for the half of the house? Or do I put how much money was actually given to her as partial settlement?<br> <br> <br> Or I could tick the bottom box "Insert other receipt as appropriate" and then put in the details of the divorce settlement.<br> <br> Thank you. (We were lucky to have owned our house so there was no mortgage or anything involved<br> <br>
