ID1 Form for multiple applications

I am going through two applications in sequence.

Step 1 ; Registering an Inherited Ownership
and then:

Step 2 ; Transfer Legal Ownership to New Owners

The parties (3) all need an ID1 form.

Do we need to apply for a separate ID1 form for each step or can we use the same one for both steps ( providing it's within 3 months)
For the above example, can we get two copies, either physical or digital?

Mark - you'll need to submit all applications and the relied upon ID confirmations at the same time and cross-refer as appropriate 
Do check and confirm if you need to complete two separate Transfers in sequence as that may not always be the case when dealing with a property where the owner has died
