My mother in law wishes to submit a verified ID1 however she has lived in a care home as a resident for the past 11 months and we do not have the items in section 3 evidence of identity I can supply a bank account statement but not with the care home address. I can also supply a letter of residence from the care home and I have a solicitor who is prepared to visit her in person, will those documents suffice or do I need something else. The ID1 will be used to discharge an entry from a trust that holds a charge and  restriction on the sale of her home.
Thanks

Hi Steven - I suggest that you lodge your application including as much identity information as you have and include a covering letter fully explaining the situation and the actions that you have taken. You may wish to include a letter from the carehome/doctor/nurse etc confirming that your mother is a resident. If alternative arrangements are available they will then be requested by HM Land Registry.
