Need some Guidance and Advice On Adding Names To Deeds

my husband has gone into a care home and both he and myself want to secure our family by adding both my name and our sons to the deed all equal im worried as i don't want to affect his care bills but we want the security i'm unsure what i need we don't have the money for legal advice can anyone advise
