How do I protect my Home Rights/Family Law by way of a notice on the register?

<p>An application for a notice under the provisions of the Family Law Act 1996 must be made in <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/notice-of-home-rights-registration-hr1">form HR1</a>. You must be married or in a civil partnership and your spouse/civil partner must be the sole registered owner of the property in order that an application can be made by you or on your behalf.
