K17 certificate protection end date

I'm been getting together the paperwork to assent/first register a property I've inherited, just about ready to submit everything but I've noticed that the K17 search certificate &quot;protection end date&quot; passed a few weeks ago.<br> <br> Will I need to re-apply and get a new K17 certificate before I send everything in?&#160;<br> <br> If I have to, it's no problem, but obviously I'd rather avoid paying for another search if I don't need to.<br> <br> Thanks,<br> Stuart
