I am using AS1 to transfer my late mother's property to myself and my husband as joint tenants. My sister and I are both executors, and so both of us are named on the probate document. The will specifies that each of us may act independently. so things like bank and share transfers have only needed one of us to act. Do we both have to sign box 12 execution? If we do both have to sign, do we both have to get an ID3 form completed? Please note: I prefer not to use a conveyancer for this transfer.

Jennifer - the key document is the probate so you both need to transfer, execute the form AS1 and have your identities verified. Your husband also needs to have his identity verified

Thanks for clarifying so quickly, much appreciated. I thought that was probably how it would go.
