Forms for being added to deeds

Hi,

My Mother is adding me to the deeds as a gift because I'm in the will. After watching a video on it am I correct in thinking my Mother has to fill out an AP1 and a TR1, and we both have to fill out and ID1, and they all get sent along with a payment that is related to the value of the house?

Hi Jason - that's correct. AP1, TR1 and forms ID1/conveyancer or ID3/others as listed - see PG 67
Fee is payable under Scale 2 on half the current value of the property. Complete panel 4 of form AP1 to refer to "Full market value . £X" and pay the appropriate fee

Thank you for your reply above. I know we've got to fill out ID3 forms now.

In the second section of the ID3 form it asks for passport numbers. Do we both need to get a valid passport done?

Jason - a valid passport in each case, yes. If you can't satisfy the form ID3 requirements then you must use form ID1/conveyancer instead
