Hi, My mother died recently.
My mother and step-father were tenants in common on their property, each with a 50% share.
In her will, for which we (executors myself, sister and step-father) have just received a grant of probate, my step-father's share was to remain.
My mother's share into be split equally between her 4 children.
My mother's name on the deeds needs to be replaced with the executors of the estate (I assume).
How do I proceed?
Many thanks
Paul

Paul - if the legal ownership was in their joint names, and that is now to be transferred to your step-father and others, then he will have to transfer the whole of the legal ownership as appropriate
See our online assisted guidance for details on how a surviving owner can transfer the legal ownership
