I own a property with my daughter as Tenants in Common. I want to gift her my share so she owns the whole property. I am not using a conveyancer or solicitor to do this. To verify our identities, do we use forms ID1 or ID3?

The link seems to relate to conveyancers as mentioned in the link. It states:"This guide explains when evidence of identity is required and how it should be given. It is aimed at conveyancers (practice guide 67)". Also, the page doesn't mention ID1 or ID3. As I am not using a conveyancer, is either form (ID1 or ID3) still acceptable?

Vicki - it is aimed at conveyancers but applies to All who require guidance on when and how to provide identity verification. You can both have your identities verified by a conveyancer using form ID1. Or by others, as listed in the guidance, using ID3. The choice is yours. Please do consider seeking legal advice/assistance if you remain unsure as to what's required and how to complete such a transfer
