Hello
Can somebody please help advise me. My wife and her brother have inherited their late fathers house (mortgage free) and her brother has agreed for my wife and I to buy out his share. The house has never been registered and all three of us are not sure what forms we need to fill out and how much it will cost. Any help will be appreciated.

A good strting point is to use our how to guide on How to update property records when someone has died. If you answer the questions it will then provide you with instructions including what forms and evidence is required. 

The fee is based on the value of the property under scale 2 of our registration services fees. However, if one or more beneficiaries is/are buying others out, then it is Scale 1 of our registration services fees on the consideration being paid.
