Hi can anyone help. I am selling my house to my son for a cash price, whole transfer, one seller and one buyer. Are we both applicant(s) on the AP1 panel 6, the transferor and the tranferee.

Hi Terence - the applicant in panel 6 is the person or persons who will appear on the updated register. If you are transferring from yourself to your son then the applicant is your son

Thanks for fast replies. One more question please about panel 7 (This application is sent to Land Registry by). My son will be the applicant in panel six, is it OK if I (the tranferor) am detailed as the sender in panel 7. My son has challenges and does not understand things easily, he would not be able to deal with a phone call about anny issues if the need arose, would be much better with me as sender in case of further contact needed, would this be OK, Terry.

Thanks Adam, to confirm can this be anyone, even a non party person. If I was simply helping a friend who was challenged and lacked understanding could I be the person submitting their application in panel 7 so as then to be the first person of contact redards any requisitions, thanks again Terry

Terence - yes. Additional thing to bear in mind is that identity verification is needed then the person submitting the application needs that as well
