Hi Adam,
Do you have any advice on how to proceed the ID verification when someone has a foreign residence address? My ex husband H and I are the joint owners of our freehold property. Upon divorce he would transfer the property to my sole ownership and no monetary value would be involved. We filled in all the forms required after seeking your advice and he signed all the forms last December. But he struggled with t ID verification. I suggested him to do either online ID verification or offline ID verification when he was in UK. He moved to China a few years ago and presently resides in China. He used his Chinese address as his residence address in the TR1 and ID forms. I would appreciate your advice on how to proceed the ID verification in his case. Alternatively any advice on how to proceed with this title transfer ASAP. Many thanks.

Many thanks Adam! Now I can find a way forward. Firstly my forms were filled in last December. Are they still valid to be sent to land registry? Secondly, to speed things up, is it worth sending the forms in first except my ex's ID verification While waiting for his ID verification to arrive? Many thanks for your help.

Rosemary - I'm afraid your forms will now be out of date (3 months) The application and all ID forms must be submiotted together
