Thanks Adam for your help on the other thread. <br> <br> And appreciate your help with the following -- just want to make sure I'm getting everything right. <br> <br> AS 1<br> <br> -- in Box 5, I identify myself as the Executor of the Estate. Is there any particular extra language I have to use in Box 12? Can I just say something like: "As per the Will of the [deceased}, I transfer the deed of [address} to the transferees listed above." Then sign and have my signature witnessed?<br> -- do I have to fill in anything on Box 8?<br> <br> AP 1<br> <br> -- in Box 4, what do I put in for the application column? "Transfer of Deed"?<br> -- also in Box 4, can't I pay this online? if so, do I tick the Direct Debit box?<br> -- in Box 5 I was going to include the Grant of Probate. Is there anything else I need?<br> -- in Box 10, if I include the names and addresses of the beneficiaries here, do I have to do the same in Box 9?<br> -- in Box 14, do I include my name and the names of the beneficiaries?<br>

<p>And one last question (I hope.)</p> <p>Do I have to file an ID3 along with the AS1 and AP1?</p> <p>Slight issue: the guidance says that both the verifier and myself have to have UK passports. I hold an EU Passport, but am resident in the UK. Can I show that passport to the verifier?</p>

Paul - you need to read and follow the guidance provided on how to complete the panels on the form AS1 and AP1<br> <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/whole-of-registered-title-assent-as1/guidance-how-to-complete-form-as1">Guidance: how to complete form AS1 - GOV.UK</a> and<br> <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/change-the-register-ap1/guidance-completing-form-ap1">Guidance: completing form AP1 - GOV.UK</a> <br> The guidance takes you through each panel in turn <br> If you can't comply with the ID3 requirements you will have to rely on form ID1/conveyancer - <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/evidence-of-identity-conveyancers/practice-guide-67-evidence-of-identity-conveyancers">Practice guide 67: evidence of identity - GOV.UK</a> <br> That guidance states "The person whose identity is to be verified and the verifier must both hold a current valid UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man full passport."

<p>thanks. but re the ID1...are you saying that the only way to get around my not holding a UK passport (even though I have full legal status here?) is to hire a conveyancer to fill out the forms and confirm my identity?</p>

Paul - as you don't have a UK passport you will need a conveyancer to verify your identity as per the form ID1/PG 67 guidance.<br> You don't have to use a conveyancer to complete and make the actual application
