We have recently self built a property that had the title Land North of Orchard Cottage. The new name of the property has now been confirmed with the local authority and I have the email confirming the name. I am filling in form AP1 to change the register to the new name Goddards .Do I need to submit the form ID3 (I am not using a conveyencer) for both of us who appear on the register to do this, or just fill in the form and send the details from the local authority of the name change?
It also happens that the ownership of the land is in our names but with our old address. Do I also need to submit a COG1 form too, to update our ownership to the new address? Can I submit at the same time, or does AP1 need to go first?
