I have been asked to fill in an ID3 form as part of a transfer of the deeds of my mother in laws property to myself and my partner. I am struggling to find someone who has know me for more than one year that fits the criteria for verifier on this form. Have contacted the GP who have said no. is there any other way to do this?

Hello Sarah - If you are unable to have your identity verified in form ID3 by someone authorised to do so, then you will have to have the identity verified in form ID1 by a solicitor or those authorised to do so. Our Practice Guide 67 explains more about our requirements.

The conveyancer will charge some fees but do not necessarily have to legally represent you with regards to the application.

I hope this helps.
