Hi

I need your help and advise
We are buying a property and should have completed the 6th december however upon priority search from my solicitor it came clear that there wer charges added to the land registry. June and october which are all still showing awaiting processing and a new one 10th dec all by the same firm. However an agreement was made 12th December between the sellers solicitor and said firm that whatever debt the seller had with these firms was going to be paid out the completion money so a new date was set for completion 20th December which is tomorrow. However after yet another priority search these charges are still on there and my mortgage won't accept it if they do not have priority on the title how can we get round this as I could now potentially lose my buyer of my house over now having another failed completion if this cannot be resolved today

WM604038 appreciate you cannot give alot of info due to security but your advise would be appreciated

Many thanks

Hi Jenny - really sorry to read of the issues you are facing re the property. There are 3 applications to register Agreed Notices and all lodged by the same firm. There maybe 3 separate interests being protected or just one but either way they/it needs sorting before you can complete.
That will be very much down to the seller's conveyancer as if they made an agreement with the party behind the application(s) then I would have expected a request to cancel/withdraw them to have been submitted. That's not the case
You need to discuss this with your conveyancer to ascertain not only what's happening but also options/next steps.
I note that you also emailed us an enquiry so I'll reply to that but would suggest you stick to one channel,if oyu need to engage further
