My parents converted 2 barns into their house and sold off the main house and land. Their solicitor told them it was easy for them to do the LR themselves online, however this appears to not be the case.
Their new house retained the name of the original building and is called X House - it should be X Barn. We believe filling in AP1 should sort that for us. X Barn does actually exist on the LR website but says no information is held for this.

On the Title plan, two barn shapes are on their land but they would like it to show the actual house building. I have the plans from the conversion but are not sure which form would fulfil this function - possibly AP1 as well?

The ultimate goal is having the LR entry accurate for if they ever need to sell in the future.

Katherine - form AP1 can be used (panels 1-7 inc and 15) plus a copy of the confirmation letter from the local authority re the postal address.
House names/addresses are managed by the LA street name & numbering department

Thankyou

How do I go about adding/changing the buildings on the title plan??

Katherine - you don't as we don't register the buildings but we do register the land on which they are built. The red outline/edging is the registered extent on any title plan, What is within the red outline can change over the years but the title plan does not need to be updated each time

I said this might be the case to my dad but he wasn't sure it was - so to confirm, there is nobody that adds the outline of the buildings to the title deed as all that matters is the outline around the land itself? What is within the red line is irrelevent to selling on the plot?

Katherine - that's correct
