Personal applications - certification of documents

I am about to make an application in person for first registration of unregistered land based on adverse possession. There are several documents that need to be lodged to support the application, including a TR1, statutory declarations and old title documents relating to immediately adjoining land. Practice Guide 5 indicates that certified copies of these documents only should be lodged, and not originals. I am a solicitor but non-practising. May I certify the copy documents myself (I do not fall within the definition of a conveyancer as I no longer hold a practising certificate), or do I need to get the copies certified by someone else?

Michael - strictly speaking the guidance on
GOV.UK
should be followed.
However for registration purposes we will generally accept certification by the applicant as in the named person submitting the application
