Hi,

Is is possible to show 2 boundaries on the same plan for the same title?
The land in split by a road which doesnt belong to the title owner. How do we form a compliance plan with this?

Also, is it possible for anyone to produce the compliance plan?

Thank you

Hi D - I don't quite follow the first part of your post, sorry.
Anyone can produce a plan and I guess it's all to do with that you are trying to comply with.
Our PG 40 sup 2 explains how to prepare a plan for specific types of application
But if it's a determined boundary application then our PG sup 4 is the one you need

Hi Adam,
Thanks for this.
Did you see the attached screenshot? The screenshot shows the extents of the land we are trying to produce a compliance plan with. Would it be acceptable as currently shown (in two parts)?

Hi D - I did but that doesn't explain what you mean by the plan and what you are trying to comply with.
A plan is a plan and it can show any number of parcels of land/property if that's what it is for. As far as 'compliance' goes in a HMLR context that means to scale, north point, showing sufficient OS detail to enable us to identify where it relates to etc as per the guidance I linked you to.
So if your plan is to show two separate parcels of land divided by a road then it does that. Whether it then complies with what our requirements are depends on what you are then going to use the plan in support of. As it doesn't have a north point, scale or sufficient detail to enable us to locate where the land/road is then it's not going to be acceptable for registration purposes
There's no such thing as a 'compliance plan' in HMLR terminology. You can have plans that comply with specific needs/requirements though hence my post
