Our charity has just received the Order under S90(1) of the Charities Act 2011 transferring the charity's registered properties with the Official Custodian. The Order includes the title numbers of the properties concerned. I now need to make an application to file this Order with the Land Registry, to update the titles. I have read PG14 (and particularly para 3.5) but it isn't clear to me how to go about this. Please advise. Thanks.

Martin - when applying to update registered titles you would use form AP1. The registration fee will be payable under Scale 2 on the current market value of the titles involved
Change the register (AP1) - GOV.UK
HM Land Registry: Registration Services fees - GOV.UK
Land registration is complex, designed to protect legal and financial interests in property. There can be significant consequences for any error. Please consider seeking legal representation. Before making an application without legal representation, it is important to consider the benefits of using a conveyancer.

I am the chairman of two charities , one an unincorporated Trust and one a CIO, both running the same village hall. We have received an order from the Charity Commission permitting the merging of the trust charity into the CIO. The property (village hall) is vested in the OC. Do we need to advise the OC of the change to the charity structure and the new charity number ?
