Hello Adam,

It’s been a while! So, I was hoping I could get your advice and help

We have two outstanding applications that have been expedited. All paperwork has now been submitted and as far as I know no outstanding requisitions

The case numbers are NN400764 and NN118323

The question I have is there any way we could get any type of timeline of when these applications will be completed?
Our family keep being told the cases are complicated and are given no time line at all ? Just we have to wait

We do understand there are senior case workers working on them but are we talking 12 months or more to wait? The not knowing is really causing some stress within the family

I really appreciate any help or insight you may have

Regards

Tracey

Hello Tracey - the applications are indeed complex and as you state are with a senior caseworker for review. Next steps should be known in the next few days and doubtless we will be contacting affected landowners to see if they object to the registrations and entries to be made
Those notifications have a 15 working day timescale so you are probably looking at a further 4 weeks wait unless all recipients respond positively and sooner. We can't hasten/hassle recipients
I'll flag with the casework team to ensure that the next steps are taken asap
NN400764 and NN118323
Hello Adam,

That’s helpful to know it a few months rather than many months/years

I’m just a little confused though with the notice part to landowners
We thought notices that had a 65 day reply had already been sent out to affected parties and they had returned with their answers
Do they get another notice sort of like a courtesy then with the new information with a 15 day response?

Thank you for flagging it with the case worker, we as a family really appreciate it

Tracey
Tracey - Notices were issued re the second title and the pending application against it. But not against the first title and I suspect that the replies from the conveyancer re the lengthy corres between us and them, mean that more are required re the land to be registered for the first time
Fortunately from a timescale perspective they are not the 65 day notices you refer to
NN400764 and NN118323

Hello Adam,

so today we lost our buyer for the property.

is there anyway we can get an update from the senior case workers where we are at? Our solicitor has said again today it could take up to a year for the case to be finished!!!
This is heartbreaking to hear, the listed building needs constant upkeep, this not knowing is causing financial stress and I fear the house will fall into disrepair.
The main family member that was trying to maintain the house has now felt she can no longer continue remarking, maintaining etc

I have asked our solicitor to contact the case workers but she seems resistant to do so

I would appreciate any insight at all

Regards
Tracey
