Failure to register ownership

If a property is showing as 'no information held' is it possible to discover if information has ever been held by LR?

If a purchaser fails to register their ownership of a property does the previous owner continue to show as the owner on the title register or is the previous owner removed  and the property then shows as 'no information held'?

David - if it's not registered then it's not registered and it won;t have been previously either. If you want to confirm that a property is unregistered you should submit a postal search of the index map
A register will only update when an application is made to do so. So if someone purchases a registered property then the title will show the seller's details until that registration is completed and the register updated
