Would be really grateful for an update today as he doesn't work Thursdays or Fridays so I'll need to chase today if he hasn't sent a response over!

J L - reply received yesterday so that has enabled the wider checks I mentioned to start and they complete at end of November unless recipients respond sooner and positively

J L - end of November as stated and the registered owners of BL33904, BL121622 and BL153628.
Please do consider carefully what you do next re the wider checks and speak to your legal adviser before trying to chase recipients. I mention this solely as experience tells me that getting involved with/interfering with the process can add additional delays if recipients/conveyancers query such things

Hi J L - The application has been referred back to the lawyer for consideration following expiry of the notice period. 

Thanks Nimish :) do you mean that it has been referred back to the lawyer within Land Registry, or to the lodging conveyancer? Is this just to assess whether possession can be granted? If so, are there any estimated timelines?

Sorry for so many questions, but our mortgage offer expires in two weeks, and we've been sofa surfing for 6 months now as we had to break the chain, so I'm keen to understand timelines..!

J L - It's been referred to lawyer within HM Land Registry.  It is part of the assessment of the application.  At this stage there is no timescale on how long it may take.
