Will HM Land Registry email me the progress of my application?

Hi there,

I made an application this August and received an email from HM Land Registry:

Dear customer, 

We received the application for Title AGL286618 on 22 August 2025.

Our reference for this application is L807DZT.

When will the application be completed?

We estimate it will be completed by 15 January 2026, based on the application type.
======

Since then I haven’t received any emails from them. I don’t how to check either the progress or the outcome of my application.

I know that I can pay 7 pounds to download the title paper. Can you kindly if there’s any free way to know the progress?

Hi Yu - the application remains with us and processing won't start for a while yet, as per the estimated timescale quoted.
The application is waiting for processing to start and we don't routinely update applicants to reaffirm that fact and there's nothing to advise re progress when it is simply waiting
The application/transaction is protected from the date of receipt and the casework team will contact you as appropriate once processing starts/is completed - please wait for that contact
