<p><strong>Title No. AGL108107</strong></p> <p>The above property is held as tenants in common and is owned by four individuals.</p> <p>The husband passed away a few years ago, however his name was not removed from the title at the time. The wife has since also passed away.</p> <p>Could you please confirm whether a Grant of Probate is required for both the husband and the wife in order to remove their names from the title deed</p> <p>Thank you for your assistance in this matter.</p>

Umesh - probate is only required with regards the property when the number of registered legal owners is reduced to One.<br> It might be obtained for other reasons and can then be used to update the register re the death(s) but in most cases the death certificate(s) are the evidence used<br>
