Getting a copy of my service charge agreement?

Hi,

I just contacted my service charge for a copy of our agreement. I own my flat.
But I was told I need to get a copy of my service charge agreement through the HM land and registry website.
Is that true?

Hi - if they mean the actual Lease then you can request a copy by post
Responsibility for holding a copy (or the original) rests with the landlord and lessee. But when a lease is registered with us a copy is usually supplied and filed. Copies can then be requested if needed.
